Learn how to grow an herbal tea garden and create your own blends!This workshop includes a guided tea tasting and instruction on how to grow a tea garden, harvest and preserve ingredients, blend herbs and create unique recipes.
As part of the course fee, participants will take home a six-pack of organically-grown tea garden seedlings and a jar of their own herbal tea creation!
Instruction will be provided by Breanne LeJeune, owner of Tomato Cat — a micro urban hobby farm based in Christiansburg. This with time to relax, ask questions, and gain hands-on experience.
