Join James Taylor of Digital Alchemy Photography & Melissa Ketchum of Gilded Heart Coaching in unlocking the mystery of the tarot as we kick-off our monthly Winter series, Tarot & Tea!
This unique experience will guide you in understanding the powerful symbolism & meaning behind the tarot while teaching you how to interpret divine messages for yourself & others.
You will dive into a deeper understanding of the history of divination while exploring and interpreting each suit in the deck, all with a customized tea tasting themed to each element that will activate the senses, giving you a mind, body, & soul experience.

Meet Your Hosts James & Melissa:
Melissa A. Ketchum is a Spiritual Life Coach, Divine Channel, Reiki Master + Sound Healer with Gilded Heart Coaching. She believes in the importance of connecting to your inner guidance as an outlet for healing and creating a beautiful & fulfilling life! She works with her clients to create energentic shifts of transformation and deep healing using manifestation techniques, intuitive guidance, and energy healing to assist her clients in discovering their souls true essence through creative expression. She's been studying Tarot for 20+ years and has a deep reverence and understanding of the transformative power of divination. She's an inspirational speaker and host of the Awakening Hour Podcast, a podcast for spiritual beings navigating the human experience. She loves facilitating sacred circles, workshops, and creative retreats to assist others in coming back home to their truth as they step into their spiritual gifts!
James Wesley Taylor, a Mankato native, graduated with a BFA in Photography from Utah State University in 2020. His work centers on the human condition, delving into themes of spirituality, sexuality, and art history.
Returning to Mankato in 2021, Taylor took on new creative challenges, including the Semaj Roytal Tarot project—a 78-image series exploring the major and minor arcana of Tarot. This project, widely exhibited across southern Minnesota, marked an evolution in his artistic expression.
Taylor is continually pushing the boundaries of digital photography, immersing himself in projects that explore the depths of his own emotional experiences. Each new piece is a journey through complex themes that reflect his inner life, with a focus on visually translating feelings that often go unspoken. His work is a fusion of technical skill and raw personal insight, aiming to evoke empathy and introspection in viewers as they connect with the universal human experiences of vulnerability, resilience, and self-discovery.
