To celebrate Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori, we welcome you to participate in an evening of language, community and fun!
Facilitated by Gabriel Tongaawhikau (Pourewa), we will be hosting an open kēmu (game) session in the Orientation Space, Ground Level, South Atrium. Featuring a variety of Māori language kēmu (games) that are designed to support all levels of confidence, from beginner to fluent. This is a supportive space to practice, learn and connect through te reo Māori, so come along!
Following on from the kēmu, Gabriel will take everyone on a guided a tour of our newly opened Te Ripo o Te Moana gallery space.

The Museum is open late for Twilight Tuesday until 8.30PM. Tuitui Bistro & Cafe will be open, and hosting their $10 Happy Hour from 5PM - 8PM
