✨ TE TAU WHAKAHIRAHIRA O HOANI WAITITI MARAE ✨This Labour Weekend, Fri 24 - Sun 26 October 2025, we warmly invite all uri, our wider hapori, and everyone connected to the Marae and Kura to join us in celebrating two major milestones :
45 years of Hoani Waititi Marae | 40 years of TKKM o Hoani Waititi Marae.
PROGRAMME
DAY ONE : Friday 24 October
Morning | Rangi Kaumātua (Gold Card Entry)
📍 Hoani Waititi Marae
Celebrating our kaumātua, the ihorei of our Marae.
Afternoon/Evening | Pō Whānau (FREE entry)
📍 Te Pai Courts
A concert celebrating 45 years of Hoani Waititi Marae, told through performances from the kapa haka of Hoani Waititi Marae.
A Night Market will run outside with kai stalls available throughout the evening.

DAY TWO : Saturday 25 October
Morning | Hui Rautaki
📍 Hoani Waititi Marae
A strategy hui looking to the next 40 years, with wānanga across the Kōhanga, Kura, and Marae boards.
Evening | Kawe Ora 40-Year Banquet Dinner (Ticketed Event)
📍 Te Pai Courts
A formal black-tie dinner marking 40 years of our kura. An evening of kai, entertainment, and collective celebration, he kawe ora! The setting is formally elegant, but the wairua is vibrant, relaxed, and all about coming together as one whānau.

DAY THREE : Sunday 26 October
Morning | Raukura ki Rauātea (FREE entry)
📍 Glenora Park
Whānau sports, tamariki activities, kai, and prize-giving.
The final programme will be published 7 days before the event.
Updates will be shared via email and publicly on Facebook -Hoani Waititi Marae and Instagram - @eighty9ltd> Also via the internal comms of the Marae, Kura and Kohanga.
