🛠️ Te Mata Playgroup Working Bee – Volunteers Needed!
We’re excited to be getting Te Mata Playgroup ready to reopen and would love your help to refresh the playgroup space!
📅 Working Bee Dates
Saturday 25 July & Sunday 26 July 2026
⏰ Please arrive before 9:00am for task allocation. We’ll be working through until 4:30pm each day.
📍 Location
Te Mata Hall / Te Mata Playgroup
775 Te Mata Road
Raglan 3296
Whether you can spare an hour, half a day or the whole weekend, we’d greatly appreciate your help.
We’ll be tackling jobs both inside and outside the playgroup, including cleaning, painting, gardening, repairs, and general tidy-up to create a welcoming space for our tamariki and whānau.
🧰 Tradespeople and handy helpers especially welcome! If you have skills in painting, carpentry, gardening, electrical work, or general maintenance, we’d love to hear from you.
☕ Refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
Wet weather plan: If the weather is unsuitable, the working bee will be postponed to Saturday 1 August and Sunday 2 August 2026.
Can you help?
To help us plan the weekend, please let us know:
* Which date(s) you can attend
* What time you’ll be available
* Any trade or practical skills you can offer
Please email [email protected] or text Melissa on 027 277 8050 with your availability.
With your support, we’re hoping to welcome families back to Te Mata Playgroup from the week beginning 10 August 2026.
