After an incredibly successful season, Dining Under the Stars returns to Bethells Beach Café for another series of unforgettable evenings made possible by Aaron and Maja.
Held on the first Thursday of every month, this unique dining experience brings together beautifully prepared food, thoughtful hospitality and the magic of Bethells Beach after sunset. Guests are invited to slow down, dress for the occasion and enjoy a relaxed yet elegant evening beneath the stars.
Each event will feature a different culinary theme, with a specially designed multi-course menu created by MSc Chef Maja Moors. Our opening night begins with a seven-course French-inspired menu, celebrating refined flavours, seasonal ingredients and classic French techniques with a fresh coastal influence.
From warm homemade bread and delicate chilled velouté to cherry-glazed duck, wild mushroom pappardelle and an elegant chocolate-orange dessert, every course has been carefully planned to make the evening feel special from beginning to end.
This is not simply a restaurant booking. It is a shared experience—a long-table evening filled with atmosphere, conversation, music, candlelight and the natural beauty of Bethells Beach.
Following the success of our previous season, we are returning with an even more polished experience, improved service and a new calendar of themed dinners for guests to enjoy throughout the year.

Arrival: From 6:30 pm
Dinner begins: 7:00 pm
Price: $80 per person
Menu: Seven courses, with a vegan main-course option
Drinks: Alcohol-free event with non-alcoholic beverages available
Bookings: Essential—seating is limited
The event is planned as an outdoor dining experience beneath the stars. A sheltered alternative will be used if the weather requires it, so the evening can continue comfortably.
