This Women’s History Month, Texas Democratic Women proudly honors the trailblazers who came before us, the leaders shaping our present, and the future generations ready to take up the mantle of progress.
From the suffragists who fought for our right to vote to the fearless women organizing in our communities today, we stand on the shoulders of those who refused to be silenced. Women have always been at the heart of change—breaking barriers, building power, and driving policies that uplift families, workers, and our democracy.
As Texas Democratic Women, we recommit to advancing the rights of all women, defending our freedoms, and ensuring that every woman—regardless of background—has a voice in our political system. Together, we will continue to fight for reproductive rights, economic justice, equal pay, and a future where all women thrive.
This month, we celebrate our past, but more importantly, we keep moving forward—because when women rise, Texas rises.
