Join the Harris County Democratic Party, ROADWomen, and Texas Democratic Women Harris County Metro Area this Women's Equality Day for a phone bank to get out the vote for this crucial November election.
Our ask is simple: 100 women. 100 calls.
We want 100 women to fill that room on August 26, and our goal for the night is 100 calls per woman. There are over 100 women candidates on the Harris County ballot this year, and every call brings us closer to reaching the voters counting on us.
ALL are welcome to attend!
We are calling all women elected officials, candidates, precinct chairs, organizers, activists, and volunteers. Come network, support each other, and put in the work.
Women's Equality Day marks 106 years since the 19th Amendment gave women the right to vote. But 1920 didn't reach every woman. Women of color were blocked from the ballot for decades, until the Voting Rights Act, which was gutted by the Supreme Court this year. We are not going back a century. That is why we organize.

Las mujeres de color permanecieron excluidas de las urnas durante décadas, hasta la Ley de Derechos Electorales, que la Corte Suprema debilitó este año. No vamos a retroceder un siglo. Por eso nos organizamos.
