TDoR. Transgender Day of RemembranceTDoR began in 1999, it was organized in memory of Rita Hester (one of the original activists at the Stonewall riots), by transgender advocate Gwendolyn Ann Smith.
In 2024, over 350 transgender people were murdered in the world. In the United States, at least 35 people were murdered. 78% of victims were people of color, 56% were Black transgender women, 63% were killed with a gun, 42% of victims with a known killer were killed by a romantic/sexual partner, friend, or family member, and 38% were misgendered or deadnamed by authorities or the press.

We have 3 live vocalists confirmed
A “brief prayer/message, thought” that would be inclusive to all attending
Dessert reception at 7:30pm
Still seeking dessert donations!!!
