Debbie Briggs is best known for her rich, powerful, vocals, and soul stirring interpretations of beloved jazz standards from the 1920s – 1960s. With fresh takes on old tunes, she playfully transports modern audiences of all ages finding common ground in today’s world of varied music tastes, blending “crooner-like” vocal stylings with subtle cross-genre influences. The result is something that feels simultaneously timeless yet altogether new. Debbie Briggs has been a featured vocalist at Twin Cities Jazz Fest, The MN State Fair, The Minneapolis Institute of Art, Crooners, The Mall of America Swing Dance series, multiple local and regional tours and festivals, as well as countless stages and venues across Minnesota. Including multiple sold-out runs of her Holiday show “A Very Vintage Christmas”. Debbie is frequently accompanied by guitarists, Tim Kirchhof and/or Robert Bell, and a rich rotation of talented jazz musicians from the local scene. Debbie has been credited as a rising talent in the Twin Cities music scene, and surely one to keep an eye on for years to come!
