Look no further than our Technique class!
Tundra Caravan is dedicated to teaching and educating the interior of Alaska about Middle Eastern Dance and Belly Dance since 2001!
In our Adult Belly Dance Technique Class we will cover all things basic Belly Dance: moves, music, dance counts, expression, and history.
We also take it a step further than today’s modern belly dance and teach the exciting and fun Middle Eastern folk dances that are the foundation of today’s Belly Dance!
Each semester we learn at least 1 choreography.
This semester we will be learning a choreography using veils!
Veils provided by Tundra Caravan!
So whether you are a beginner or an experienced dancer this technique class is great for everyone, every body, every ability level, every age!
Each semester we have a special guest instructor who teaches something new about Belly Dance or Middle Eastern Dance. We have covered many topics over the last few years and always aim to bring you something new and exciting each year!
We are happy to announce our Spring Semester guest instructor will be Terri Massa! Terri is a founding member of Tundra Caravan who continues to teach and perform with us each year!
This semester Terri will be teaching

We will be learning a choreography during these 5 weeks with Terri STARTING IN FEBRUARY!
To take classes all you have to do is show up and be ready to dance! 💃
There is a registration form that will need to be filled out. You can do this either on our website tundracaravan.org or in person when you come to class!
PRE REGISTRATION IS NOT REQUIRED!

Semester pricing: $200 if paid in full within the first 4 classes of the semester. After the first 4 classes semester pricing will be $20 per class.

You can drive into the park through the back gate if you take the side road towards the Carlson Center. Follow the road around and park right at the dance hall so you don’t have to walk through the cold 🥶 and snow ❄️!
