About this Event
This event is part of the “TCD Early-Career Researchers Funding Day 2024”, organised by the Trinity Research Development Office on October 2nd 2024.
The Trinity Research Development Office will host an afternoon training workshop on career development. A panel of successful TCD researchers at different research career stages will share their experiences and advice with future applicants, followed by an interactive workshop on career development, CV building and funding plans from RDO funding specialists. There will be plenty of time for Q&A during both sessions to ensure you leave the afternoon session with practical tips on how to progress in your research career.
Programme Overview:
- 14.00-15.15: Panel discussion with PIs on their experiences
- Dr Maja Halilovic-Pastuovic, Research Assistant Professor (School of Religion)
- Dr Frederick Sheedy, Associate Professor (School of Biochemistry & Immunology)
- Dr Suzanne Cloonan, Professor in Respiratory Biochemistry (School of Medicine)
- 15.15-15.30: Coffee Break
- 15.30-16.30: Interactive workshop on CV building and Funding Plan
