Age of Sigmar Tournament
Saturday 21st September 2024
This is a competitive Age of Sigmar Tournament will be 3 games, 1-day tournament with 16 players.
Location: The Combat Company
4/16 Hearne St, Mortdale, 2223
Parking: On-site and street parking are available.
Public Transport: The 945-bus line runs from Hurstville to Bankstown train stations.

TIMETABLE
Day 1 (Saturday):
Registration/Set Up – 9am to 9:15am
Round 1 – 9:15am to 12pm
Break – 12pm to 12:45pm
Round 2 - 12:45pm to 3:15pm
Round 3 – 3:30pm to 6pm
Pack up/Prizes - 6:15pm to 6:30pm
Please be on time for registration as this will help us to start games on schedule.
Due to the schedule of the event, all games must begin sharply on time and conclude by the end of the allocated time regardless of what turn or stage of the game you are at.
Do not commence a new battle round within the final 10 minutes of the game without the permission of the Tournament Organiser.
If the time runs out to finish the game and you haven't completed all 5 Turns. Your scores must be submitted as it stands end of the Battle Round. Please do not "talk it out" for the remaining turns that hasn't been played.
Chess Clocks aren't mandatory in this Event but if BOTH you and your Opponent agrees to use one, you can. Please inform the TO if you choose to use one.
Things you need to bring with you:
Be sure to bring the following items with you on the day of the tournament:
-Your 2000-point Army. All models MUST be WYSIWYG - Please check with the TO before the day if you are unsure.
-3 typed and itemised copies of your 2000-point army list (one for each of your opponents)
-Warhammer Age of Sigmar Rulebook or the AoS App (NEW)
-Warhammer Age of Sigmar General’s Handbook 2024-25
-Your Faction Pack or the AoS App (NEW) & relevant FAQ
-5x Battlefield Objectives markers
-Tape Measure & Dice set
-Plastic & Super Glues (for emergency repairs)
-A positive & fun attitude.
All players are encouraged to bring their own gaming resources for the tournament.
You will have the opportunity to purchase any resources you need before the start if required.
You must have the Age of Sigmar General’s Handbook 2024-25 and the relevant Faction Pack on the day to take part in the Tournament. These can be purchased in store on the day if necessary.
Tournament Scoring:
There will be placings based on your total Tournament Points scored through your 3 games. (Wins>Battle Points> Wins Strength of Schedule> Battle Points Strength of Schedule)
Players will be randomly drawn against an opponent in Round 1 then players will be matched against someone with the same record and who won and lost their games in the same rounds (Win/Loss > Random).
Etiquette & Rule Disputes:
○ Players are expected to follow the Players Code (GHB24-25) of always be polite and respectful, always tell the truth and never cheat.
○ Let’s keep this event super friendly and fun!
○ Event Support will attempt to be available throughout the event should you require a judge's ruling. I ask that you attempt to resolve the dispute with your opponent using the appropriate rulebook & FAQ (or just roll a D6 for it).
○ If a player has concerns at any point, they are always welcome to call me. When calling for a judge’s assistance, please be prepared to provide any relevant rules to the question. Once a ruling has been made it is final.
Army Composition:
Writing your Army List using the “Advanced Rules” for 2000pts on pg.226, Age of Sigmar 4th ed. Core Rule Book.
1-5 Regiments (1 Hero & 0-3 non-hero units, 0-4 in General's Regiment)
Any Auxiliaries Units

Writing Your Army List
Your army list must be built using the most recent point updates through the Age of Sigmar App or Warscroll Builder and submitted to the BCP event for the tournament. Link below:

Lists must be submitted on Best Coast Pairings no later than Sunday 15th September. Army Lists will be locked & will go live once everyone has submitted their lists.
If you use an army list that has not been submitted and checked by the due date, you gain zero battle points for any game in which that list has been used, so please, ensure your army list is accurate for the army you will be bringing and make sure it is submitted on time!
