TCA Region 1 Advocacy Conference: Counselors as Change Agents

The TCA Region 1 Advocacy Conference: Counselors as Change Agents is a half-day professional development and networking experience focused on strengthening advocacy, leadership, and community impact across the counseling profession.

Brought to you by Texas Counseling Association Region 1 and sponsored by the Sam Houston State University Department of Counselor Education and Aspen Counseling and Wellness, this conference will bring together graduate counseling students, school counselors, professional counselors, counselor educators, supervisors, and community partners for a morning of applied learning, meaningful dialogue, and connection.

Whether you are just beginning your counseling career or are an experienced professional, this conference is an opportunity to explore how counselors can use their voices, professional identities, and collective influence to advocate for clients, communities, and the counseling profession.

At TCA Region 1, we believe that strengthening the counseling profession means investing in those who are preparing to enter it and supporting those who are beginning their professional journey.

In support of the next generation of counselors, registration for the TCA Region 1 Advocacy Conference is FREE for current graduate counseling students and LPC Associates.
