This is the launch of the TAWF local tournament series. TAWF will host both, a 3v3 Team Showdown for teams to win Cash Prizes 💵, and a No Elimination Tournament for anyone to compete for TAWF medals🥇
The TAWF Pro 3v3 Team Showdown is how local clubs step onto the TAWF table. One club picks its best in each class. You build the best three-man combo you can. Then you pull together.
You pick your team. You pull together. You lose together. You win together. Feel the intensity of pulling for more than just yourself.
THE 3v3 TEAM SHOWDOWN
Every entry fee goes straight into the prize pot. The more teams that enter, the bigger the pot.
* Entry: $180 per team. $90 deposit to lock your spot, $90 balance at weigh-in.
* Roster: 3 athletes, one in each weight class.
* Light: up to 180 lbs
* Middle: up to 210 lbs
* Heavy: 211 lbs and up
* Format: every team plays 3 qualifying games. Top 4 advance to the finals.
* Finals: the 3rd and 4th seeds pull for 3rd place (15% of the pot plus a custom 3rd-place plaque). The 1st and 2nd seeds pull for the title. 1st place takes 60% of the pot plus plaques. 2nd place takes 25% plus plaques.
HOW TO ENTER YOUR TEAM
1. The captain fills out the sign-up sheet at the link: https://scoreboard.tawf.ca/signup
2. Submit your team name, team logo, captain, and your full three-man roster, one athlete per weight class.
3. Send the $90 deposit to [email protected] using the payment method on the sign-up sheet.
4. Once your deposit and sheet are in, TAWF sends your confirmation email.
Entry deadline: at least 48 hours before the event. Some exceptions may apply.
NO ELIMINATION TOURNAMENTS!!!
Open to everyone. The No Elimination format gives every athlete the same chance to pull, win or lose. A points system decides each class. Where a class has multiple groups, a finals round settles 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. TAWF medals for the top three in every class.
* Entry: $30 per arm.
* Sign up the day of. Under 18 must have a legal guardian sign the waiver at least 48 hours in advance.
* Men's classes: 160 / 180 / 200 / 220 / 221+ lbs
* Women's classes: 160 / 180 / 181+ lbs
RUN OF SHOW
Friday, September 25th
* 6:00–9:00 PM — Early registration and weigh-in (3v3 and No Elimination)
Saturday, September 26th
* 11:00 AM — Day-of registration and weigh-in opens (3v3 and No Elimination)
* 11:45 AM — 3v3 registration closes
* 12:00 PM — 3v3 qualifying begins (Games 1 and 2, two MAC tables, on the patio)
* 2:00 PM — No Elimination registration closes
* 3:00 PM — 3v3 qualifying wraps
* 3:00–6:00 PM — No Elimination tournaments on the patio (women on Table 1, men on Table 2)
* 7:00 PM — 3v3 Finals, inside, one table, under the hockey lights
