Our speaker this month is Neil Smart, a volunteer speaker for Medical Detection Dogs. This world-leading research programme harnesses the power of a dog’s nose to help revolutionise early cancer diagnosis and improve outcomes. Humans have up to 5 million scent receptors, whereas the dog has up to 300 million!Meetings are free for all Taunton Deane Divas members and there is a small charge of £5 for non-members (please note you can attend three WI meetings as a guest with the first meeting free).
