Do you have what it takes to be crowned Taunton Area Amateur Pizza Making Champ?Or - do you want to enter your home pizza chef?
We'll have a panel of judges and you'll get a 15 min window to produce your very best pizzas. Bring your own dough, bring your own ingredients, but you'll use our kitchen and oven.
You have to make 2 pizzas:
1. Margherita
2. Your favourite pizza.
You'll be judged on:
Dough
Bake
Harmony of flavour
Head to Ludacrust.com and book at table for 1 on Sunday 22nd Feb and bring £10 in cash for your entry fee. We'll be serving drinks on the night, but no pizzas. PRESS RELEASE

Ludacrust Launches Taunton Area Amateur Pizza Making Championship
Taunton, Somerset — [Insert date] — Ludacrust, the mobile Neapolitan pizza outfit known for its hand-built ovens and bold flavour combinations, is hosting the very first Taunton Area Amateur Pizza Making Championship, inviting local home cooks to step up and prove their pizza skills.
The event will take place at 4–6 Magdalene Lane, Taunton, TA1 1SE and is open to the public. Aspiring pizza chefs will go head-to-head in a friendly but competitive cook-off, with the ultimate goal of being crowned Taunton Area Amateur Pizza Making Champion.
Competitors will be given a 15-minute window to produce two pizzas:
A classic Margherita
Their own favourite pizza
Entrants must bring their own dough and ingredients, but will use Ludacrust’s professional kitchen and wood-fired oven on site.
A panel of judges will score each competitor based on three key criteria:
Dough
Bake
Harmony of flavour

Ludacrust will also be serving pizza throughout the event, creating a proper community vibe for pizza lovers, foodies, and curious spectators alike.
