Tattoos for a Voice
Recently, Ink or Dye shared a policy stating that we will not tattoo or pierce registered sex offenders. That post went viral around the world—reaching more than 15 million people, generating over 100,000 reactions, and receiving thousands of comments and shares.
The response made one thing very clear: this conversation matters.
But awareness means very little if we are not willing to turn it into action.
So we decided to put our money where our mouth is.
Ink or Dye is bringing our community together for a special fundraising event dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual assault, human trafficking, and abuse, while helping connect people with organizations and resources that can make a real difference.
Throughout the event, we will be offering tattoos, piercings, and permanent makeup services, along with live music, a costume contest, cornhole tournament, raffles, vendors, information tables, and more.
This event isn’t intended to focus on the darkness of what survivors have endured. It is about support, empowerment, awareness, community, and giving people a voice.
We are honored to be partnering with Heartly House, Inc., Harriett’s House, and For All Seasons Behavioral Health & Rape Crisis Center to help provide education and resources and to ensure the funds raised can directly benefit the people and communities these organizations serve.
And we’re starting with our own contribution.
100% of the Meta payout generated by the viral PSA post—currently over $1,000—will be donated.
If millions of people are willing to stop, read, react, comment, and share, we believe we can take that same energy and turn it into something tangible.
Something that helps a survivor.
Something that provides a resource.
Something that starts a conversation.
Something that reminds people who have experienced sexual assault, trafficking, or abuse that their voices matter and their community stands with them.
Come get tattooed. Get pierced. Support local organizations. Listen to music. Enter the tournament. Buy a raffle ticket. Learn about the resources available in our community. Or simply come spend the day with us and help us turn a viral moment into something that actually matters.
We made the statement. Now we’re backing it up with action.
More information regarding participating artists, services, entertainment, contests, fundraising opportunities, and event details will be announced soon.
Together, we can turn awareness into action—and action into impact.
