As stated on our Facebook, this is a benefit to help Joseph’s mother and father. Lyle and Brenda Christensen
On April 1st my father went in for not sleeping well and chest pain and they transferred him to the emergency room, then the specialty center with a heart rate of 180. They needed to get it under 100 which took some time but they were able to. He has Atrial fibrillation which fortunately they got under control and is on quite a few medications to manage. On top of this, they did find several spots in his lungs, adrenals, and chest. The biggest concern is one that is 4.3cm pushing on his windpipe. We are still at the very beginning stages of everything and we will be meeting specialist here very soon.
That said, this is perhaps one of the most important benefits for us. This is my dad, my best friend, my rock and the person that made everything possible for me in this life.
With the hospital stay, the meds, and whatever future appointments, treatments, etc, I’m putting this together to help them out so they do t have to worry about the bills piling up. He has Medicare plan A and B insurance but there is still a lot out of pocket. Certain medications are fully out of pocket. And I just want my father to get the adequate treatments and care he needs without having to worry.
About the event:
This will be an all day event starting at noon.
We will have hundreds of designs to choose from from cancer related designs to just fun cool designs. Something for everyone. Prices will start at $50
We will have gift baskets and will be selling gift cards all day long.
We will have a bake sale as well.

Our friends at Rebel Lobster will be out as well donating proceeds to the cause.
Everything from this day will be donated to the cause minus supplies and tips for the artists. My personal tips will be donated. I’m doing everything I can possibly do to get my parents what’s needed. If I have to take out a mortgage on my house, I will do so. My dad means everything to me. And to be honest, he is the reason I have everything I have in this life. He is a huge person behind my success, he is the one that taught me how treat you all so well over the years. My dad has always been a kind, caring, giving man. And I try to follow those traits as much as possible.

If you were to ever pick one event or anything here at Rockin Tattoos, this is it. This is the one that means so much to me personally and I have no problem admitting I’ve been crying just posting about it. Yeah, I may tattooed and look tough, but this one hits hard.
