Who are the faces behind Products of Palestine?
We're a mother daughter duo, celebrating and cultivating our Palestinian heritage within the community of Tulmur/ Ipswich, QLD, the place we've called home for close to thirty years.
Mia is a multi-disciplinary creative, neurodivergent mental health advocate and mother of two. She is also the director of Kinected Collective, whose mission is: cultivating kinship through creativity. Kinected is proud to support this project through event coordination and photography.
Rana is a former corporate powerhouse, who actively sought a change of pace in her work/life balance, these days finding herself happily lifeguarding, grand parenting and pursuing all things Tatreez. She is working on a set of pieces for her first community exhibition, featuring mixed media Tatreez pieces that explore the past, present and future of her Palestinian heritage.
