Learn traditional Palestinian embroidery with Badan Collective and hear updates on CAIR-LA's Palestine advocacy! This is a beginner-level class ideal for students with little to no embroidery experience—everyone is welcome! During this hands-on, interactive workshop led by Bayan Fares, founder of Badan Collective, we will dive into the history of Palestinian textiles and learn the mechanics of cross-stitching. At the end of the workshop, students will get to take home their finished piece!
The cost of your ticket includes event registration and an embroidery kit. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase at the event.
