We're launching "Tata Efren", a story for the children in all of us!
Join us at the book launch of "Tata Efren's Forever Laughter" by poet-fictionist Eileen R Tabios, book illustrator Mel Vera Cruz and psychologist & author Dr. Jeannie Celestial. Voice actor Art Bautista, will provide a reading from the children's book.
Tata' Efren's Forever Laughter, an illustrated children's story, is a unique children's book for how it faces the aftermath of a loved one's death. But the story is joyous & heart-warming despite its subject. The book also offers tips for parents and caregivers on helping children proceds grief.
Also featured are material for caregivers and commuity workers by Dr. Celestial to guide children through mourning and grief. The material includes reflections, poetry prompts & rituals which can be used one-on-one between caregiver/parent and child as well as for workshops.
