Mountain Club welcomes Hawkshead, one of Gibbston’s quiet achievers, for an evening that traces the path from vision to vineyard. Hawkshead grew from a simple yet striking idea: grow grapes with purpose, and let the land do the talking.Planted in 2001, Hawkshead’s Pinot Noir vines quickly gained acclaim, setting the tone for a label built on character, restraint, and respect for the land. Today, Hawkshead crafts small-batch wines sourced from across Central Otago - each one a reflection of thoughtful land use and a near-obsessive approach to quality.
This tasting will showcase a flight of their regionally expressive wines, including their flagship Pinot Noir and a curated selection of varietals sourced from standout sites. Expect nuance, structure, and stories from the slopes. Led by the Hawkshead team, this is your chance to savour wines that speak fluently of place and philosophy. Purposeful wines. Unfiltered stories. One curated night.
