About this Event

What do we mean when we talk about salvation?

For many of us, the word salvation comes with a familiar set of ideas about sin, belief, heaven, and what it means to be “saved.” In some expressions of evangelical Christianity, this understanding was presented not simply as one way of thinking about salvation, but as the Christian understanding.

Christian thought about salvation, however, is much broader.

Join us for an evening of Tasting Room Theology as we explore some of the ways salvation has been understood within the Christian tradition. We'll consider understandings that reach beyond individual salvation alone—toward restoration, reconciliation, healing, and the renewal of creation itself.

Together, we'll ask what a more expansive understanding of salvation might mean for how we understand God, ourselves, one another, and the world.
