Detroit is a city of neighborhoods, each offering its own rich history and culinary gems. On this unique 3.5-hour tour, join Detroit History Tours as we explore four (4) standout restaurants across four (4) distinct Detroit neighborhoods, each showcasing the flavors and stories that make them shine. From Corktown to Greektown, Ham-town to The Cass Corridor we’ll cover ground and eat our way across Detroit!
Together, we’ll embark on a progressive dinner journey, indulging in some of Detroit’s most beloved dishes while uncovering the fascinating history behind the restaurants, neighbourhoods, recipes, people, and buildings that feed Detroit. From old-school favorites to innovative culinary creations, this tour celebrates the city’s food scene with delicious glory - and joyous gusto!

This tour is designed exclusively for Thursdays, providing guests access to the people behind the food—owners, chefs, and staff—who can’t always stop by to chat during a weekend rush.
Details:
Your ticket price includes all food, some drinks, and a 20% gratuity at each stop for our servers. Additional alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at select locations, at guests own expense.
Special dietary requests cannot be accommodated. Guests with food allergies or restrictive diets should not join this tour. We hope to see you on a different tour!
Guests must be 16 years or older to join; those under 21 must be accompanied by an adult. Valid ID is required for alcohol purchases. Those under 21 years of age will have to wear “the sharpie x of shame”. (minors' hands will be marked to ensure they aren’t served alcohol.)
Departure Location: The Detroit History Club, 3103 Commor St., Hamtramck, MI 48212. Free street parking is available. Doors open 30 minutes prior to departure for check-in and restrooms.
