About this Event

Age Restrictions

For ages 18 & up

Description

Just like at Pieter Sypesteyn’s NOLA restaurant, you can expect nostalgia, warm hospitality, and fun as you discover favorite foods of New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Chef Sypesteyn will guide you through creating his versions of a seafood-stuffed pepper, introduce you to a new way to enjoy boudin, and a pasta dish made famous during Jazz Fest.

You’ll get to cook alongside Chef Sypesteyn, and at the end of class, you’ll get to sit back, relax, and enjoy a fabulous meal together.

You will be working in a small group. For ages 18 & up. 21 or over? You will enjoy a glass of wine perfectly paired with the meal.

About Chef Pieter Sypesteyn

A seventh-generation Texan born in New Orleans, where kitchens were open, tables were full, and meals were meant to gather people together. From popular San Antonio food truck Where Y’at, to his first brick-and-mortar restaurant, Cookhouse, to his current restaurant, NOLA, each chapter has been built on the same delicious foundation: honoring where he came from while creating a place where everyone feels welcome.

Today at NOLA you can enjoy comfort-food brunches with a little Southern charm and keep the good vibes flowing after dark with soulful dinners featuring elevated entrées, cocktails, and good company.
