Taste of Wheel Throwing

This 2-part class, led by TRAHC staff, will guide students on an introduction to wheel throwing, including wedging, pulling/lifting, creating handles, centering, and glazing. This class will meet on two Thursday evenings in October:

Meeting times are 6-8pm each day that class meets. Students are also encouraged to wear clothes that are suitable for working with clay. The Visual Arts Director will coordinate with students once all pieces are bisque fired to glaze their pieces.
This class is $160 and materials and clay/materials/tools are provided by the artist and TRAHC. Tuition is refundable only if less than 5 individuals register. This class will meet in the Clay Eichler Ceramics Studio in TRAHC's ArtSpace (518 Pine Street, Texarkana, TX) and is open to individuals 13+. For additional questions, please email [email protected].
