Join USO Stuttgart as we explore the vibrant flavors of Korea through food! Our volunteer, Chef Carolina, will be preparing a delicious Korean-inspired lunch featuring Sticky Korean Chicken Drumsticks, Japchae (stir-fried glass noodles with vegetables), Korean Cucumber Salad, and a sweet treat of Soboro Bread (Korean streusel bun). Stop by the USO center on Panzer Kaserne, November 14th starting at 11 AM.Korean cuisine is known for its bold, savory-sweet flavors and colorful variety. Dishes often feature ingredients like garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, and gochujang (Korean chili paste), balanced with fresh vegetables, marinated meats, and fermented sides like kimchi.
