Taste of Lowcountry Food Crawl

Join travel journalists and authors, Cele and Lynn Seldon, on a history and culinary walking tour of downtown Beaufort. The Beaufort residents will be highlighting several of the historic entries from their new book, 100 Things to Do in the South Carolina Lowcountry Before You Die, sharing intimate Pat Conroy stories (Pat was Lynn’s writing mentor), and hosting some tasty bites from several Beaufort restaurants (also featured in the new book), making for a moveable feast for lunch. Planned bites include Lowcountry specialties like tomato pie, shrimp and grits, and southern barbecue. The walk will start outside of McIntosh Books at the Arcade and will cover approximately 1.5 miles of flat walking. Rest (and food) stops include Lowcountry Produce, Q on Bay, Plums, and Lowcountry Cider. A copy of their book is included in the price, as is their wealth of knowledge about all things Lowcountry and Pat Conroy.
