YOU’RE INVITED. . . . Join in the Fun!
Bob Bowers Civic Center of Port Arthur Saturday February 13, 2027 11:00am-2:00pm
It’s that time of year again for the upcoming Taste of Gumbo & More fundraiser organized by the Rotary Club of Port Arthur. The Taste of Gumbo has been a major fundraising project and a club tradition since 1987.
We realize that you are often asked to support events and charities in Southeast Texas, but we humbly ask you to join us in this project. Help us to help others. Ways in which we share with our community include the following:
• Capland Speech Therapy Center Support
• hub ex Car Seats for Newborns – PA Health Department
• Dictionaries for Third Graders in Port Arthur
• Everlasting Changes
• Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)
• Scholarships for Seniors
• Sleep in Heavenly Peace - Beds for Children
• Thanksgiving Baskets for Needy Families
• Toys for Kids and More
The Taste of Gumbo & More is not only a fundraiser; it’s a great family fun activity. There will be door prizes, a silent auction, a photography booth, mascots from area businesses, desserts and other foods, dancing and live entertainment by an exciting band called the Rollin’ Bones. We expect 1,500 or more attendees, and we look forward to having you as part of it!
