Join us for Taste of City Heights, an afternoon showcasing the rich cultures, local restaurants, and vibrant small businesses that make City Heights one of San Diego's most diverse communities. Sample bites from 20+ local restaurants featuring cuisines from around the world while enjoying live entertainment, community, and culture.
Hosted by City Heights CDC, Taste of City Heights brings neighbors, local businesses, and supporters together to celebrate the community while raising funds to support affordable housing, food access, economic opportunity, and neighborhood revitalization programs that strengthen City Heights year-round.

Explore a walkable tasting route of approximately 1.5 miles along University Avenue and surrounding streets while sampling dishes from some of the neighborhood's most beloved eateries.

GENERAL ADMISSION
Your General Admission ticket gives you access to Taste of City Heights, where you'll enjoy samples from 20+ local restaurants representing the diverse cultures and cuisines that make City Heights unique. Explore local businesses, enjoy live entertainment, and experience an afternoon celebrating one of San Diego's most vibrant communities. Every ticket supports City Heights CDC's work to strengthen neighborhoods through affordable housing, food access, economic opportunity, and community development.
VIP EXPERIENCE
Upgrade your experience with VIP Early Access, beginning at 1:00 PM, before general admission opens. VIP guests will enjoy an exclusive pre-event reception featuring 5 elevated chef-curated tastings showcasing local culinary talent, 2 complimentary drink tickets, and a commemorative Taste of City Heights tote bag.
In addition to the exclusive VIP reception, you'll receive full General Admission access to enjoy 20+ participating restaurants, live entertainment, and cultural experiences throughout the afternoon. VIP is designed for guests looking for a more intimate experience with additional opportunities to connect with local chefs, community leaders, sponsors, and fellow supporters before the main event begins.
