2026 Mid Autumn Moon Festival
About this Event
Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival With Us!
Join us for a free, full-day Mid-Autumn Moon Festival celebrating culture, community, family, and the traditions that bring us together!
Presented in collaboration with the Asian American Dance Festival, this year's celebration brings an exciting mix of traditional and contemporary cultural experiences to Officer Jeremy Henwood Memorial Park. Spend the day enjoying live performances, hands-on activities, family games, cultural traditions, environmental activities, and plenty of opportunities to participate—not just watch!
🌕 Festival Highlights
Throughout the day, experience a colorful lineup of multicultural performances and interactive demonstrations, including Chinese classical dance, Vietnamese cultural performances, Polynesian dance, Odissi classical Indian dance, ballet, contemporary dance, K-pop, Philippine dance, breaking, Yosakoi, Tai Chi, Kung Fu, lion dance, Taiko drumming, and more.
Many of our performers will also invite the audience to learn, move, and participate, making this a celebration everyone can be part of.
🥮 Make a Mooncake
What would a Moon Festival be without mooncakes?
Stop by our mooncake-making activity and experience one of the most recognizable traditions of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Learn, make, and take part in a tradition that has brought families together for generations.
🏮 Lanterns, Riddles & Arts and Crafts
Explore traditional lantern riddles, decorate your own lantern, and enjoy arts and crafts for children and families throughout the festival.
Pick a riddle, test your knowledge, and see if you can solve it!
🌱 Have Fun While Helping Our Community
Celebrating our community also means taking care of the place we call home.
Join our Trash Pickup Challenge and compete as a team to see who can collect the most litter, or put your knowledge to the test in our Recycling Sorting Challenge.
There will also be opportunities to make an environmental pledge and learn simple ways each of us can help create a cleaner and healthier community.
🎉 Family Fun
Bring the entire family! Children can enjoy the bouncy house, games, activities, arts and crafts, and other family-friendly experiences throughout the day.
Whether you stay for an hour or spend the entire day with us, there will be something to discover, experience, and enjoy.
❤️ A Celebration for Everyone
The Mid-Autumn Festival is traditionally a time for families and communities to gather under the full moon. Our celebration carries that spirit forward by creating a welcoming place where people of different ages, cultures, and backgrounds can meet one another, share traditions, and celebrate together.
Admission is FREE and everyone is welcome.
