Get ready for four days of delicious eats, vibrant culture, and nonstop fun on the Halifax Waterfront!
From September 10–13, 2026, Taste Asia Food & Culture Festival returns to Halifax, bringing together local restaurants, food vendors, makers, performers, chefs, cultural organizations, families, students, and communities from across the region.
🌏 Taste Asia is more than a food festival. It’s a celebration of the cultures, traditions, stories, creativity, and people that make Nova Scotia such a vibrant and diverse place to call home.
Bring your friends, bring the family, and come hungry! There’s something happening throughout the festival:
🍜 Vendor Village — Taste, shop, and discover food, drinks, handmade goods, art, accessories, and more.
🎯 Game Zone — Play for a Good Cause! 💛
We’re proud to partner with the IWK Foundation through our Game Zone. $1 from every game ticket will be donated to the IWK Foundation, supporting its important work for women, children, youth, and families across our region.
🎶 Live Performances — Experience traditional and contemporary music, dance, and performances celebrating cultures from across Asia and beyond.
👨🍳 DEMO Kitchen — Catch chefs in action with Asian-inspired cooking challenges, demonstrations, and plenty of delicious moments.
🎨 Workshops & Games — Get hands-on with family-friendly cultural crafts, activities, games, and prizes.
🍻 Garrison Beer Garden — Find your favourite Taste Asia food, then pair it with a refreshing beer, pre-mix, or non-alcoholic drink from Garrison Brewing. Our licensed area is part of the festival’s all-ages experience, so families can enjoy food, games, workshops, and performances together while adults 19+ can purchase and enjoy alcoholic beverages.
