Join the Creative Community Impact Association (CCIA) for a lively, hands-on fabric painting session where adults, local artists, and neighbours come together to create art with a purpose.
Participants will design and paint four vibrant, permanent table runners that will travel all over the city to decorate future CCIA free community events and local pop-up markets. This session will focus on Environmental Awareness and 2SLGBTQIA+ themes.
Facilitators will guide you through brainstorming simple designs, playing with colourful compositions, and mastering easy textile painting techniques. Whether you are a seasoned artist looking to connect with local creatives or a beginner wanting to try something totally new, you will find a warm, inspiring space to chat, paint, and collaborate.
No experience is required; all materials are provided, and everyone is welcome. Come leave your artistic footprint on a lasting piece of community history.
***Please note: We’re offering two sessions with different themes on August 30 and September 13. You’re welcome to attend either session or both, but separate registration is required for each date.***
