Our DIY Craft Workshops invite kids, families, and craft lovers of all ages to explore a variety of hands-on activities inspired by Asian art and culture. Whether you're making a colourful lantern or decorating your own traditional-style fan, there’s something fun to create and take home.

Create your own colourful decorative lantern!
How it works:
Choose your materials and colours, assemble the lantern structure, then decorate it with your own creative patterns and details. Once finished, your handmade lantern is ready to take home and display.
🧵 Kids’ Embroidery
Discover the fun of embroidery with an easy, beginner friendly project designed especially for kids.
How it works:
Pick a simple pattern, learn how to thread and use basic embroidery stitches, then slowly bring your design to life with colourful thread. Take your completed embroidery piece home when you're done!
🪭 Lacquer Art Fan
Experience the beauty of traditional lacquer inspired colour art and create a completely unique fan of your own.
How it works:
Start by adding drops of your favourite colours into the prepared water tray to create beautiful floating patterns. Then choose the fan shape you like and gently dip it into the colours, allowing the flowing pigments to create a one of a kind design.
After the fan is coloured, make it even more personal by adding your own drawings, patterns, Chinese characters, names, or decorative messages. Every fan turns out differently, so your finished piece will be truly unique to you!
🥁 Opera Rattle Drum Painting
Paint and personalize your own traditional style Chinese rattle drum.
How it works:
Choose your colours, paint your own patterns or character inspired designs on the drum, and add decorative details to make it uniquely yours. Once completed, you can take your handmade rattle drum home and have fun playing with it too!

Create an elegant, vintage style pearl fridge magnet inspired by traditional Chinese decorative craftsmanship and intangible cultural heritage.
How it works:
