Taste Asia 2026: 4 Days Food, Culture, Music & Celebration（Sep 10-13）

From September 10–13, 2026, Taste Asia Food & Culture Festival returns to Halifax, bringing together local restaurants, food vendors, artisans, performers, chefs, cultural organizations, families, students, and communities from across the region.

Taste Asia is more than a food festival, it is a celebration of the cultures, traditions, stories, and people that make Nova Scotia such a vibrant and diverse place to call home.

Discover a lively waterfront marketplace filled with delicious food and unique local finds.

Taste your way through a wide variety of Asian and multicultural street foods, regional specialties, snacks, desserts, and refreshing drinks from local restaurants and independent food vendors.

Alongside the food market, browse handcrafted products, artwork, accessories, gifts, cultural merchandise, and creative pieces from talented local makers and artisans.

Every booth has something new to discover — and every bite tells a story.

Get creative and experience culture through hands-on activities at our Cultural Workshop Tent.

Throughout the festival, guests can take part in guided workshops inspired by traditional crafts, art forms, and cultural practices from different Asian communities.

Whether you are trying something new, creating a keepsake, or learning about the meaning behind a traditional craft, these workshops offer a fun and meaningful way to connect with culture.

Multiple sessions will be offered throughout the festival. Some workshops may require advance registration and have limited capacity.

Watch chefs and culinary creators prepare dishes live on stage while sharing cooking techniques, ingredients, cultural stories, and kitchen tips.

Guests will have the opportunity to discover new recipes, learn more about Asian cuisines, meet local culinary talent, and experience food beyond the plate.

Take a break and enjoy the harbour atmosphere at the Taste Asia Waterfront Beer Garden.

Relax with friends while enjoying a curated selection of local craft beverages, Asian beers, specialty drinks, and other refreshments in a dedicated outdoor lounge area.

It is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy the waterfront views, and take in the festival atmosphere between performances and activities.

Alcoholic beverages are available only to guests of legal drinking age. Valid government-issued ID may be required.
