About this Event
Discover Taste & Craft China!
Dumplings (Jiaozi) are one of the most important traditional foods in China. They are especially eaten during Chinese New Year and symbolise family reunion, happiness and good fortune.
Fruit Kebabs (Tanghulu) is a traditional Chinese street snack made with fruit coated in hard sugar. It is especially popular in winter in northern China and is known for its sweet and slightly sour taste.
Chinese paper cutting is a traditional folk art made by cutting patterns from red paper. It is often used as decoration during festivals and symbolises good luck and happiness.
In this event, participants will have the chance to make dumplings and tanghulu and experience traditional Chinese paper cutting while learning about Chinese culture.
