Tasmanian Mental Health Strategy Community Consultation (North)

The Department of Health is developing Tasmania’s next Mental Health Strategy and is conducting statewide consultations with the community. All members of the community are welcome to attend and share their perspectives.

We are inviting community leaders, people who play an active role in supporting, representing or advocating for their communities. This may include leaders from:

• community organisations and neighbourhood houses
• health and social service providers
• local councils
• cultural, faith‑based and multicultural groups
• youth, disability, LGBTIQA+ and lived‑experience networks
• education, sport and community development groups
• informal community connectors and advocates

If you are someone who is interested in mental health and missed our previous community forum, you are welcome to join us too.

What to expect

• Take part in open community discussions
• Share your ideas and feedback
• Help shape the future of mental health in Tasmania
