Hello!
We’re hosting a family friendly Taskmaster-style games night and you’re very much invited. (You don't have to have watched it to play on the night, but it might give you a good indication of the fun and mayhem if you check out an episode on YouTube)
The evening will be inspired by the TV show Taskmaster... expect silly challenges, unexpected creativity, questionable problem-solving and a lot of laughter.
A small group of brave volunteers (5 people per task, drawn at random) will take part in a ridiculous task, all overseen by a very stern (but fair) Taskmaster and the audience will vote for the winner. The winner will choose one of the 'prizes'.
Important bit:
- There is no expectation at all for everyone to take part.
You are more than welcome to:
- Sit back and watch
- Laugh at other people’s terrible decisions
- Judge silently (or loudly) from the bar
- Enjoy the chaos without lifting a finger (unless you'd like to run a task for 5 people! Please do!)
- If you do fancy getting involved, brilliant! We’ll explain everything on the night.
🕒 The evening will last around 3-4 hours
🎁 If you want to play, your 'entry' to this game is to bring the worst 'unwanted Christmas gift' you've received!! These will form the prize pile! Any left over will be donated to the club for raffle/tombola prizes for later in the year!
Come for the games, stay for the nonsense.
We promise zero pressure, maximum entertainment.
