The Tasha Tudor Foundation and Society of Vermont has approved the formation of a new local chapter of The National Tasha Tudor Society, which will meet regularly and occasionally collaborate with the Historic Hull Family Home & Farmstead.
If you are familiar with Tasha Tudor's beloved children's books and beautiful watercolor illustrations, or if you admire the simple 19th-century lifestyle she embraced—cooking on an open hearth or wood stove, painting by candlelight, and wearing her iconic period dresses—we invite you to join us.
All ages are welcome. Children and adults alike can enjoy activities such as creating flower presses, participating in taffy pulls, sewing period-style pockets, cooking and baking historic recipes, and attending special field trips and guest speaker presentations.
Bring your curiosity and your ideas—this is only our second meeting, and we look forward to growing together as a group. Light refreshments will be served.
