The Tartan Terrors bring their high‑energy Celtic Invasion to the Center for the Arts for a spirited, one‑night‑only performance the night before Halloween. Blending the electricity of a rock show with the humour, heart, and heritage of Celtic tradition, the Terrors deliver a concert experience unlike anything else on the North American circuit.

Led by founder Ian Irmisch, whose decades‑long career spans international theatre, film, and television, the band features a powerhouse lineup of world‑class performers: fiddler and stepdancer Emily Yarascavitch, Newfoundland songwriter and vocalist Phill Hood, explosive drummer and tenor Charlie McKittrick, multi‑instrumentalist Chris Kerba, bass guitarist Jake Saenz, and master piper Peter McArthur. Together, they create a sound that is bold, theatrical, and joyfully chaotic — a modern twist on Celtic music that remains deeply rooted in tradition.

The Tartan Terrors have lit up stages across North America, including Times Square’s Iridium, Daryl’s House Club, Freeman Arts Pavilion, Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival, and the Celtic Music & Craft Beer Festival. Their performances combine driving rhythms, soaring pipes, stepdance, storytelling, and infectious humour, making Celtic culture accessible and irresistible to audiences of all ages.

On October 30, expect a night of music, mischief, and spirited fun — the lively kind, the haunted kind, and maybe even the liquid kind. It’s Celtic rock. It’s Halloween energy. It’s the Tartan Terrors.
