Some journeys are meant to unfold over time.

The Mutable Moon Series is a three-week tarot experience that follows the waxing Moon through three mutable signs: Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. Together, we'll trace the arc from tender new beginning to luminous culmination, exploring the themes of discernment, growth, adaptation, trust, and surrender as the Moon moves toward fullness.

Each week, participants work with a small tarot spread, share their cards, and explore their meanings together in a warm, open, and deeply supportive environment. Each participant also pulls a Major Arcana card to serve as a personal talisman and guiding archetype for the week, then returns the following week to reflect on how that archetype appeared in their lives and what it taught them.

This is tarot not as fortune-telling, but as a living, breathing practice: a way of listening more closely to the wisdom already moving through you.

The Journey
🌙 Part I · August 13 · Waxing Crescent Moon in Virgo

Theme: Discernment, Intention & Tending

We begin just after the New Moon, beneath a newly waxing crescent Moon in Virgo. Something has been seeded, but it is still tender, emerging, and in need of conscious care.

Virgo invites us to listen closely, discern what truly needs our attention, and consider the small, practical actions through which an intention can begin taking form.

Through tarot and shared reflection, we'll explore:

• What is beginning to emerge within us
• What is asking for our care and attention
• What practical action can help us tend what has been planted
• The Major Arcana archetype we are invited to embody during the coming week

Participants will work with this archetype as a personal talisman, noticing how its energy appears in their everyday lives.

🌓 Part II · August 20 · Waxing Gibbous Moon in Sagittarius

Theme: Expansion, Meaning & Alignment

We return beneath a waxing gibbous Moon in Sagittarius and begin by reflecting on our first Major Arcana talisman. Where did we encounter the archetype? How did we embody or resist it? What did working with the card teach us?

As the Moon grows brighter, Sagittarius invites us to widen our vision, reconnect with meaning, and consider where our intentions may be leading us.

Through tarot and shared reflection, we'll explore:

• What has grown or changed since the journey began
• What larger possibility is asking us to believe in
• What may need to be adjusted as we continue forward
• The Major Arcana archetype that can guide our expansion while keeping us aligned

Participants will work with a new guiding archetype during the final week of the waxing cycle.

🌕 Part III · August 27 · Almost Full Moon in Pisces

Theme: Reception, Integration & Surrender

Our final gathering takes place beneath an almost-full Moon in Pisces, only hours before the Moon reaches fullness.

We'll reflect on the archetypes that have accompanied us and explore the story they have created together. As the Moon approaches culmination, Pisces invites us to soften our need for control, listen intuitively, and make space for what is coming fully into view.

Through tarot and shared reflection, we'll explore:

• What is coming into fullness within us
• What we are being invited to receive or surrender to
• How we can meet the Full Moon with openness and trust
• The Major Arcana archetype that will guide us through culmination and into the release that follows

Participants will leave with a personal tarot spread and simple ritual to complete independently beneath the Full Moon, bringing their three-week lunar journey to a meaningful close.
