Tarot Foundations: The Language of Symbolism
Tarot is often approached as a system of meanings to memorize, yet its true depth lies in its symbolic language. The images of the cards speak through color, number, posture, landscape, and elemental forces—each detail offering a layer of interpretation that can transform a simple reading into a rich and intuitive dialogue.
In this class, we will explore the symbolic foundations that underlie the Major Arcana of a tarot deck and how they unfold as a cohesive narrative that details the maturation of the human psyche. Together, we will discuss the symbols of the cards, their elemental and astrolgical associations, and how to interpret them across different domains of life.
Bring a tarot deck and a notebook and pen if you have one, but this is not a necessity to enjoy this class.
Considering the rate of inflation and the generally dismal economy, the class is sliding scale over the summer with a suggested donation of $10-$50 in order to cover the labor and materials of the packets I create.
I do not use AI, which means these booklets take a considerable amount of time to create and often have cute little typos ;-).
