TAROT FOR THE WILD SOUL BOOK CLUB

Co-hosted by Crystal Hart and Sam Lauer, Tarot for the Wild Soul Book Club is a space to explore the tarot through author Lindsay Mack’s framework which emphasizes that within the tarot there are “no bad cards” and that every card “brings its own medicine.”
Lindsay’s perspective on tarot focuses on the present moment, and can be used as a catalyst for inner work rather than predicting what’s to come. Their Soul Tarot method is crafted in a way that encourages you to engage with the tarot within the full spectrum of your humanness–whether messy and challenging, heartfelt and beautiful, or somewhere in between.
If you enjoy deep self reflection and reading tarot for yourself or others, this book club is for you.
This entire 6 part monthly series is free and open to anyone interested in deepening their knowledge of the tarot, however, it will not be structured like a Tarot 101 class. We will not be diving into the traditional meanings of the cards, breaking down suits or number correspondences, etc. For this reason, it may be helpful to have at least a loose understanding of tarot.
Each month from July through December, we will gather (mostly virtually) as a community to discuss various chapters of Tarot for the Wild Soul and share insights and personal reflections about what the content brought up for us. This will be a heart-centered space where deep vulnerability is encouraged (but never expected) and tender subject matter may surface.
Our hope is that by exploring this framework in a community setting, folks will leave feeling held and witnessed through personal reflection with the group, and deepen their emotional fluency of the cards.
Join us for our first meeting, where we will gather in person at the Witch’s Parlor July 14th from 6:30-8:30. We will open the space for community introductions then dive into discussing part one of Tarot for the Wild Soul, pages 1 through 29.
It is strongly encouraged to bring a copy of the book (you do NOT need to also order the tarot deck for this event series) a journal/pen, and an open heart.
