ESSEX TRAIL EVENTS present THE TARMAC TWISTER TRAIL

Wednesday 14th October 2026. Starts between 6.45pm and 7.15pm.
If you didn't know Chelmer Village like the back of your hand before you will after this.
A bespoke GLOW IN THE DARK MEDAL to all finishers plus light refreshments.
ONLY 120 PLACES AVAILABLE. THIS RACE HAS SOLD OUT EVERY YEAR.
This is a self navigation trail race using a written route description, which will be issued to you on the night. The course is all tarmac/hard surface and street lit, but a head or hand torch will be required to read the instructions as there are no markings or marshals. This is not a mass start event. You may run as an individual or in groups. You will be timed out and back in at the finish.
Race HQ is located at the Springfield Cricket Club, Coronation Park, Timsons Lane, Chelmsford CM2 6AF
£12 for UKA affiliated athletes, £14 unaffiliated.
There is ample parking at the venue. A fully licensed bar and toilet facilities are also available.
