For the next 7 Saturdays, Tara will be offering a Yin Journey through the chakras. Each class will be a Yin or Deep Stretch class focused on poses to help you connect to and align these 7 energy points. Class one: You’ll explore muladhara chakra (the root chakra) in order to invite body acceptance and feelings of gratitude, groundedness, and trust.
Class two: You’ll explore svadhisthana chakra (the sacral chakra), which can help us connect with our emotional and sensual selves.
Class three: You’ll connect to the empowering manipura chakra (solar plexus chakra) which governs your strength, your vitality, your ego, your willpower, your stamina.
Class four: You’ll open to the joy in your heart with an anahata chakra (heart chakra).
Class five: You’ll explore vishuddha chakra (the throat chakra), a chakra which can help us speak our truth with honesty, clarity, and skillfulness.
Class six: You’ll explore ajna chakra (the eyebrow center or third eye) a chakra that is associated with intuition, clear perception, and imagination.
Class seven: You’ll work with sahasrara chakra (the crown chakra) This chakra is our connection to the divine source.
