A San Marcos and Texas State University institution since 1994, The Taproom is proud to invite all San Martians and alumni to our 30th Anniversary Party on Saturday, December 28, 2024.
Featuring a full day of 90s music, craft beer and whiskey tastings, glass giveaways, contests, bingo and more:

The Taproom opened on December 31, 1994 and has stood the test of time, providing burgers, beers, and community space to locals and students these past 30 years. Current owners Samantha Strahan and Sara Chavez purchased the business in late 2021 and are proud to continue the stewardship of this cultural institution.
Following bingo at The Taproom, head over to our sister bar, The Porch, located on the square-facing side of the building for our Dirty Thirty After Party featuring Our Last Daze, Lil’ Boodang, Junkbunny, Brisbane, Company L, and Red Direct.
Doors @ 6pm, music starts @ 7pm; 21+ no cover, 18+ $5. Sorry, no minors.
Events at The Taproom are all ages until bingo starts at 8pm (21+ only)
