Tapathon is to be held on Sunday 17th November 2024 in hundreds of different locations across the UK, in support of BBC Children in Need. Tapathon is now a firm date in the annual dancing calendar, gaining huge numbers of participants nationwide.
Tap dancing enthusiasts of all ages and tap dancing abilities come together to perform the choreographed routines at the same time, on the same day. No matter of age or ability, Tapathon is a great opportunity for none dancers and trained dancers to unite.
A community event that is proud to bring all members of the family together from parents, grandparents, young adults and children to perform alongside each other.
There are two Tapathon routines to chose from, either a simplified or a more advanced version. Both are choreographed for you and ready to be taught, learnt at your own pace.
All that is required is a whole heap of enthusiasm and support for this great day of tap dance. Tapathon maybe registered for a record attempt for the largest tap dance in multiple venues depending on the total numbers of participants involved in Tapathon on the day.
