TAP Volunteers at the Ricesticks & Tea Food Pantry, Sat. June 13th 6AM-9:30
About this Event
Help the Taiwanese American Professionals group (https://tap-boston.org/) support the Boston Asian immigrant community by volunteering at the Rice Sticks & Tea Food Pantry on Sat. 6/13/2026!
Volunteers will rise early to help sort bags of food for elderly immigrant families in need. The patrons will also need a hand carrying bags up the basement stairs to the street level.
Founded in 1998, Ricesticks and Tea (RST) is an emergency food pantry program serving over 120 pre-screened low-income Asian immigrant and refugee families and has been operating out of the basement of the Boston's Arlington Street Church.
After we are finished volunteering, we'd love for you to come out and have a meal with us at a local restaurant! Everyone is responsible for paying their own way.
