As part of St Albans City of Ale weekend, you can find a number of venues hosting "tap takeovers", showcasing some of Britain's finest brewers.Beak Brewery began life as a nomadic project run by food and drink writer Daniel Tapper, who spent several years honing his recipes with friends at other breweries around the UK. The project then laid roots in the East Sussex town of Lewes in 2020.
Though best known for its hop-forward IPAs, the brewery also makes a wide range of beers - from crisp and clear pilsners to decadent imperial stouts.
Come and try a range of up to 10 of their beers on draught at The Beer Shop, a tap room and bottle shop that is a magnet for local beer enthusiasts.
